Overview:

landmarks. Look forward to a number of city tours and sightseeing excursions in the likes of Shanghai, Xi’an
and Beijing, covering famous attractions such as the Great Wall of China and Forbidden City; and be
introduced to China’s many authentic cultures and fascinating history. This tour also covers a visit to
Chengdu, the land of the pandas and an unforgettable 4 night cruise along the Yangtze River aboard a
luxury boat, where you’ll discover the breath-taking scenery of the Three Gorges.

DETAILED ITINERARY:



Day 01: New York

  • Welcome to New York. On arrival, check into your hotel on your own any time after 1500 hrs.
  • Overnight in New Jersey. (Dinner included)



Day 02: New York

  • Drive to Battery Park and take a ferry to Liberty Island to see the Statue of Liberty.
  • Guided tour of New York City: 5th Avenue, Rockefeller Center, United Nations Building, Central Park, and more.
  • Visit the 9/11 Memorial Museum and pay homage to the lives lost in the September 11, 2001 attacks and the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.
  • Visit ‘One World Observatory’ for panoramic views of New York City.
  • Overnight in New Jersey. (Breakfast and dinner included)



Day 03: Washington DC

  • Drive to Washington DC for a guided city tour.
  • Visit the National Air and Space Museum.
  • See the Lincoln Memorial, Korean Memorial, and Capitol Hill.
  • View the White House (no entry permitted).
  • Overnight in Washington DC. (Breakfast and dinner included)



Day 04: Hershey & Buffalo

  • Visit Hershey’s Chocolate World and enjoy the ‘Hershey’s Chocolate Tour’ with a free sample.
  • Drive to Buffalo for Niagara Falls and witness the illuminated falls at night.
  • Overnight in Buffalo / Niagara. (Breakfast and dinner included)



Day 05: Niagara & Las Vegas

  • Experience Niagara Falls with the ‘Maid of the Mist’ boat ride (or View Mobile Tram if before last week of May).
  • Flight to Las Vegas.
  • Overnight in Las Vegas. (Breakfast and dinner included)



Day 06: Las Vegas

  • Day at leisure or optional Grand Canyon tour (various options available including helicopter and boat tours with Skywalk).
  • Evening Illumination Tour of ‘Las Vegas by Night’ including Bellagio Fountains, Las Vegas Strip, and Freemont Street Experience.
  • Overnight in Las Vegas. (Breakfast and dinner included)



Day 07: Santa Monica and Los Angeles

  • Drive to Santa Monica. Stroll along Santa Monica Beach and visit Third Street Promenade.
  • Panoramic orientation tour of Los Angeles: Hollywood Walk of Fame, Dolby Theatre, TCL Chinese Theatre, Sunset Boulevard, and Beverly Hills.
  • Overnight in Los Angeles. (Breakfast and dinner included)



Day 08: Los Angeles

  • Visit Universal Studios Hollywood and experience attractions such as King Kong 360º, Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey™, Flight of the Hippogriff™, The Walking Dead, Jurassic Park, and more.
  • Orientation tour of Los Angeles: Hollywood Boulevard, Walk of Fame, Dolby Theatre, TCL Chinese Theatre.
  • Overnight in Los Angeles. (Breakfast and dinner included)



Day 09: San Francisco

  • Drive to San Francisco, known for its fog, Golden Gate Bridge, cable cars, and Victorian houses.
  • Overnight in San Francisco. (Breakfast and dinner included)



Day 10: San Francisco

  • City tour of San Francisco: Golden Gate Bridge, Twin Peaks, Telegraph Hill, Ghirardelli Square, Coit Tower, Little Italy, and Fisherman’s Wharf.
  • Evening cruise to Sausalito.
  • Overnight in San Francisco. (Breakfast and dinner included)



Day 11: Return Home

  • After breakfast, check out of the hotel. End of ‘Splendid America’ tour.
